Love the inclusion of last year's Malkmus record - excited about the Pavement reunion. I'd drop the Automatic for the People cover - I don't think that album and in fact a lot of REM albums have worn well. Curious if you couldn't find an image for Huey Lewis - Sports.
ReplyDeleteWell Anonymous, I'm trying to appeal to a wide audience. Personally, REM ranks in my bottom 10 of all time. Quite a worthless band which have NOT worn well as you pointed out. REM ranks among Phil Collins-era Genesis, The Goo Goo Dolls and U2. Yes, I said U2. Thoughts?
ReplyDeleteAFTP should be replaced with Murmur. Remember, as you said, this is meant to feature a large variety of musical genres, and it's unrealistic to expect everyone to be on the same page. That being said, if REM stays, maybe the Monster cover would be more aesthetically pleasing in the wall art.
